Sgrechian is a 5-track EP by Fel Petai, a school band from Glan
Clwyd in Denbighshire, North Wales. Voted Most Promising Band
at the 1995 National Eisteddfod of Wales, the band's EP was recorded
using surplus funds from the original Gog Rock project.
Again, the EP was used to promote a young band
who could not afford to record their own tracks. The EP was used
to promote the band in the media, as a demo for live performances,
and was also distributed by the band to help establish a fan
base.
Sgrechian EP is unique in that it is the first
Welsh-language EP to appear on the intrnet in its complete form,
together with sleeve artwork and full tracklisting.
